I know they said they weren’t going to worry about balance with respect to the power levels of different characters, but I really have to question the decisions of the developers that led to them including Mr. Satan in this game. I picked him once against a friend as a funny joke and he had to power up Gogeta all the way to SSGSS just to stand a chance against the Dragon Ball Delibird.

As someone who put countless hours into BT2 and BT3 back in the day, I feel obligated to leave a review.
This game is an amazing sequel to the series and continues the trend of being a true DB simulator, bringing back 90% of the roster while introducing DBS and Daima characters. It’s not the most technical or competitive DB fighting game but that was never what the series was about. Instead we get a gorgeous arena fighter with a large selection of characters, with obviously huge amounts of love poured into the game and so many small details that Spike Chunsoft added as reference to the anime.

time i was replaying to Tenkaichi 3 and Raging Blast 2.
The game is technical, and with experience it starts to show the possibilities of what you can do.
No, this is not a game like Xenoverse 2 and Raging blast 2 where you can just show up and pull out crazy moves, you do actually need to get accustomed to the mechanics. But that’s exactly what makes this game so great compared to the aforementioned games. You have so many possibilities in the gameplay that it can’t get repetitive as long as you try to do more than one thing. I’ve been through the whole story of Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo, and i’m barely scratching the surface of everything you can pull out in a fight.
